To secure your quoted price, we kindly ask for a 10% deposit along with a signed contract. Following that, we’ll dive into discussions about colors, HOA (if applicable), and scheduling the project. Finally, we’ll arrange a preliminary meeting with our project manager to ensure everything is set for the start of your project.

Once you’ve signed the contract and paid the initial 10% deposit, the remaining 90% won’t be due until after the job is finished and you’re completely satisfied with the outcome!

We meticulously prepare every surface by removing loose and flaking paint, ensuring a smooth foundation for the fresh coat. Depending on the specific area being treated, our process may involve pressure washing your home, followed by scraping and priming peeling surfaces. We meticulously caulk all cracks and nail holes as needed to ensure a seamless finish. Additionally, we take the necessary steps to scuff, abrade, or profile surfaces when required, dedicating ample time and attention to meticulous preparation.

For exterior projects, please trim back any bushes, trees, and grass or weeds within a foot of the areas being painted. Additionally, ensure that any animal feces are removed prior to our crew beginning prep work, as this helps maintain a clean job site. For interior projects, we kindly ask that you remove all valuables such as pictures, wall decor, TVs, mounts, etc., from the walls before we begin your project. This precaution helps prevent any accidental damage during the painting process.

If you require assistance with item removal or furniture relocation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us beforehand. While we’re here to help, it’s important to note that AllBright Pro Painting cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur during the process.

If you’re open to suggestions, we highly recommend Sherwin Williams products. They conduct extensive product testing, and their commitment to quality means they stand behind their products. In the rare event of a manufacturing defect, you can trust that Sherwin Williams will address any issues promptly. However, we’re flexible and can use any type of paint you prefer—after all, it’s your house!

Oil-based paints have been mostly removed from the market for architectural applications. This is due to the constant push for less solvent and lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) in the paint formulas. Oil-based paints redeeming qualities include a superior smooth look, good moisture resistance, and ultimate hardness and durability. Unfortunately, because of the curing process, oil-based paints tend to become very brittle as they age, which leads to cracking, peeling, and ultimate failure of the paint. On exteriors and moisture prone areas on interiors, oil-based paints have a tendency to mildew, because some of the ingredients act as a food source for mildew. Water-based paints, also known as latex and acrylic paints (these are the ingredients that “bind” the paint to the surface), have come so far and have outperformed their counterparts of yesteryear. Today’s latex and acrylic paints exhibit excellent qualities, such as moisture resistance, mildew resistance, flexibility, color fastness, and block resistance (the ability to not stick to itself or objects to stick to the finish, such as items on a painted shelf). Most of the water based paints we use are known as 100% acrylic, which are of the highest quality available.

We always apply two coats of paint.

Paint finish comes in three general categories:
Flat Finish– also known as matte finish
Satin Finish– also known as eggshell finish or low-luster finish
Gloss Finish– also known as semi-gloss finish

Yes, it is ultimately the homeowner’s responsibility for any color choices, and there is an additional cost for a color change. The additional cost is determined by how much of the job is completed, along with the cost of the additional paint.

Depending on the project, you will need to call Aaron to discuss scope of work. However, AllBright Pro Painting does guarantee the job will get done at a reasonable time. A typical bedroom would take about a day or two to paint the walls, ceiling and trim. You should plan on not having access to the bedroom for at least one night.
